Installation
Wall safes or built-in safes can be very well prepared for in the long term. For installation, the following information is first required: the expected size of the safe (body) and its weight. The external dimensions (HxWxD) serve as the calculation basis for installation. The weight of the safe is another relevant factor with regard to the load-bearing capacity of the wall (structural analysis).
Format
During the planning phase, it makes sense to consider which valuables are to be stored in the safe: jewelry, a camera, bank documents, or digital media, for example. This allows you to determine more than just the external dimensions and weight of the wall safe. You can decide how large the internal dimensions of the safe should be, what volume you require, and how many adjustable shelves your wall safe should have.
Security Level
Bremer Tresor offers wall safes with various security levels or resistance grades. Safes are available in accordance with VdS 2450 or EN 1143-1 from Grade N/0 to Grade 6, and security cabinets in accordance with EN 14450 in security levels S1 and S2.
Before you decide on a wall safe, you should ask your insurer about the coverage value of your items. Insurance sums for private and commercial purposes differ. You can find an overview of the recommended insurance sums under Safe Security Levels.
