Security Level S2
Safes with security level S2 are certified according to EN 14450. They are particularly popular for private use and offer extensive protection against mechanical attacks. They prevent burglars from gaining quick access. At the same time, they offer light fire protection: secure folders with important documents and data media in particular against fire outbreaks!
Even more protection is offered by a wall safe with resistance grade 1 certified according to EN 1143-1.
Lock Type
You can equip your safe with different types of locks, each offering individual advantages:
- Double-bit lock: Our cost-effective standard option, which does, however, require the key to be kept in a safe place.
- Electronic combination lock: With this, you eliminate the need for a key. The electronic combination lock can be opened using a 6-digit code.
- Electronic combination lock with emergency opening: While a classic electronic combination lock must be opened via emergency procedures in the event of a technical defect, this version additionally includes a key-based opening for emergencies.
- Kaba Mauer lock: The top-of-the-line option and the right choice if you want a lock with many additional functions. Please note that it cannot be integrated into very narrow safe models.
Installing the safe
For all the advantages a wall safe S2 brings, its installation can be quite elaborate and complicated. This is why integration is often carried out during new construction or major renovation projects. It is also possible at other times, but it requires even more careful thought and planning.
The first problem is choosing a suitable wall. External walls are difficult here because they are usually load-bearing and also play an important role in insulation. With internal walls, however, it must be checked whether they are thick enough. In some cases, it is necessary to build an additional wall just for the safe to achieve a good result.
It is usually advisable to have the anchoring of the wall safe carried out by a team of experts; we are happy to assist you.
