Models
You can order Bremer Tresor safes in a wide variety of dimensions. You should therefore consider what you would like to store. Based on this, you will need a different volume and different interior fittings, e.g., several height-adjustable shelves or just one large compartment. Do you prefer an electronic lock or a combination lock?
High-security safes may also be an option for you if the items to be stored require a very high level of insurance coverage.
Security class
The value of the items you wish to keep in your safe determines which security class you should choose for your safe. Please consult your insurance provider before making a purchase.
Bremer Tresor offers safes in security classes (also known as safety levels) VdS 2450 or EN 1143-1 from Grade 0 to Grade 5, as well as Grade S1 and Grade S2. You can read more under Safe security levels.
Fire protection
Fire protection
You should protect your data from extreme heat and fire. Since steel conducts heat and paper turns to ash at 700 degrees, fireproof safes from Bremer Tresor are highly insulated. This protects your documents against fire, heat, and extinguishing foam.
Data media are more heat-sensitive than paper and therefore require special protection, e.g., S60DIS according to EN 1047-1. You can read more under Fire protection classes.
Weight
The weight of the safe depends on its dimensions (HxWxD). This can play a role depending on the installation site and structural conditions (read Installation sites). If you decide on a wall safe, you should first have the properties and strength of the wall or floor into which the safe is to be built assessed.
High-security safes can weigh more than 500 kg, making removal virtually impossible. If a safe weighs less than 1000 kg, it is anchored to ensure that it cannot be removed.
