Armored glass: Tested according to EN 1143-1
In terms of security, there is no difference between a gun safe and a gun cabinet with glass. The glass window in the door consists of special laminated safety glass (LSG), which is also referred to as armored glass from a thickness of 25mm. The armored glass fulfills all requirements for firearm storage. The glass used is bulletproof and is in no way inferior to a safe door made of a metal-concrete composite.
Certified according to EN 1143-1
Our glass gun cabinets meet current security standards and are certified with Resistance Grade 0 or even Resistance Grade 1. We only work with official testing bodies for certification. The test standard for certification is EN 1143-1.
Thanks to this certification, the safe is suitable for storing firearms and ammunition:
The following overview shows how many you can store in which model:
| Kriterium | Regelung in Österreich |
|---|---|
Gun cabinets with glass
Our glass gun cabinets are classic gun cabinets with class 0 or optionally configurable to class 1, into which a window has been integrated. The lighting inside the safe provides a perfect view of the weapons lined up on the rear wall.
Pontus 9: The classic
The Pontus 9 is the most affordable of the available glass gun cabinets. It has 9 weapon holders for long guns on the back wall. Additionally, it is supplied with 3 handgun holders, which are also visible through the illuminated pane. The integrated LED lighting is powered from the outside via a socket and can be easily operated via app control from a smartphone.
Pyrex: The combination variant
The Pyrex 6 model series is similar in design to the Pontus series. The Pyrex 6 is certified with resistance grade 0 or optionally with 1. The glass gun cabinet has space for a total of 6 long guns and 3 handguns. The special feature: The Pyrex 6 offers a partition wall that divides the interior of the safe into two areas. Individually adjustable shelves provide space for files, ammunition, etc. The interior lighting promises a perfect view of the weapons lined up on the back wall of the safe.
Gun cabinet display cases
You can exhibit a special weapon. This can be seen from the side and is highlighted by integrated LED lighting. The color of the LED light can be changed via an app on your smartphone. The lighting is powered from the outside by a plug, making it easy to integrate the light into smart home environments.
Primos: For an exclusive long gun
The Primos series is one of our most popular series of armored glass gun cabinets. It is certified with resistance grade 0 or optionally 1 according to EN 1143-1. In the Primos 10 model, a total of 10 long guns can be stored. 9 on the rear wall, in the non-visible area. One weapon can be decoratively displayed in the showcase.
Panos: The combination showcase
The Panos series is very similar to the Primos series. It represents the combination variant. A partition wall is mounted in the center of the safe, making the left area perfect for storing accessories or valuables. The Panos 7 model offers space inside for 6 long guns, which are lined up on the rear wall. Additionally, one weapon can be displayed in the mounted showcase insert.
Equipment: Individually customizable
Our gun cabinets with glass can be customized individually, just like our armored glass safes. Different colors and locks are available. Furthermore, various configurations and accessories can be chosen.
Graphite black or wood look
As a color option, a dark graphite black with a fine-structure finish is available. The high-quality silver handle stands out here and gives the cabinet an elegant design. The interior is painted white, making it bright so that the weapons are clearly visible.
On the other hand, as an even more elegant variant, a wood-look version in a walnut tone is available. The entire cabinet differs little from a genuine wood-crafted cabinet. Matching this, the handle and the lock (except for the Kaba Mauer variant) are also finished in a wood look. The interior is painted in an elegant bronze tone, giving the weapons an exquisite exterior.
Three available locks
When choosing locks, you can decide between 3 variants:
- Double-bit lock: standard closure via a key lock. Supplied with 2 keys as standard. The simplest and cheapest variant.
- Combination lock: An electronic combination lock. This can be opened with a numeric code. Additionally, a master code is available for emergencies. In this variant, the battery is located behind the keypad, allowing it to be changed even when the unit is locked.
- Kaba Mauer lock: The highest quality variant. This lock is a combination of a combination lock and a double-bit lock. The gun cabinet can be opened either by code or with a key. Additionally, numerous special functions can be programmed. You can find more information under Kaba Mauer lock.
