The storage of weapons is regulated by the legislator in § 36 of the German Weapons Act. It specifies that ammunition must be kept in a secure container, protected against unauthorized access, even if you do not own a firearm.
Separate storage of weapons and ammunition is not required; furthermore, unlike a gun safe, an ammunition cabinet does not need to meet a specific security grade.

Atelli 70
The medium-sized model in the Atelli series is the Atelli 70. With a height of 70 cm, a weight of 19 kg, and a capacity of 82 liters, the Atelli 70 is ideal for users who want to store more ammunition. Four shelves ensure an organized ammunition store and offer space for other items that should be protected from prying eyes as well as theft.
Atelli 130 (B)
The Atelli 130 and the Atelli 130B are the two largest ammunition cabinets in the Bremer Tresor assortment.
The Atelli 130 is a 130 cm high ammunition cabinet weighing 42 kg with 6 shelves. This results in a capacity of 193 liters and plenty of space for large quantities of ammunition.
The Atelli 130B also offers plenty of space at a height of 130 cm and 6 shelves. The B-version of the model is twice as wide as the regular Atelli 130 and accordingly has a volume of 382 liters.
Ammunition cabinet: Resistance classes and security levels
For owners of only one firearm, a high-quality and solidly equipped gun safe is generally sufficient to correctly store the weapon and its ammunition. This must comply with legal regulations and therefore be tested for its resistance against break-ins and certified according to EN 1143-1.
