Turn one tall compartment into two usable ones

A gun cabinet is designed for the length of long guns. As soon as you store fewer long guns than the cabinet's capacity, a large part of the interior space remains as unused height. A retrofitted shelf creates a second level for ammunition, optics, cleaning kits, documents, or handguns.

Our shelves are made of steel and have folded edges at the front and back. This folding is not just a visual detail; it reinforces the metal and prevents sagging under load. Each shelf is supplied with four shelf supports; you don't need any other materials for installation.

Finding the right shelf

There are two ways, and both lead to the same result:

In the second case, measure the clear width, i.e., the free interior space between the side walls, not the outer dimensions of the cabinet. Our shelves cover a range from 16.2 to 79 centimeters in width, with depths from 22.5 to 36.4 centimeters.

The designations in the product names refer to the chamber to which the shelf belongs. Combination gun cabinets are divided inside, and both chambers have different dimensions:

Hook in instead of drilling

The shelf supports are placed in the existing row of holes in the side walls, and the shelf is placed on top. No drilling or welding is required, and this is important: any modification to the body could affect the certification of your cabinet. A hooked-in shelf does not do this.

The height can be changed at any time later by moving the supports. So, if you change your inventory, you don't have to buy a new shelf.
