Reference values from the insurance industry. Your insurer decides on a case-by-case basis; the sum may increase with a burglar alarm system. The EN 1143-1 scale goes up to grade 6, so resistance grade 1 is not the highest level, but the usual upper limit for hotels.

Expert tip: For a hotel safe in the room, we recommend security level S2 according to EN 14450. This standard means that the safes are subjected to break-in attempts with mechanical tools as well as tests of the locking system and the anchoring. Those who store higher values at the reception should opt for a secure storage cabinet.
