Which fire protection is the right one?
It is not just a burglary that can pose a threat to your valuables; fire is also a risk, especially for important paper documents. We offer you the option to choose between two different levels of fire protection, ensuring the contents of your safe are securely protected:
The Maira series safes feature combined protection with security level S2 against burglary and LFS 30 P fire protection.
Customized equipment
At Bremer Tresor, you have the option to customize your safe. We offer you a large selection of different sizes and colors, as well as lock systems and organizational elements.
Once you have decided on a safe, the next step is to choose the right fire protection. After that, you can configure a safe according to your wishes.
You have various options available to you when choosing the security lock. As a standard, all our safes are equipped with a double-bit lock, which can be opened with a key. If you prefer to equip your safe with a combination lock, an electronic lock is available. A combination with a numeric code is also possible.
Please note that burglars will most likely search for the key if your safe is in a visible area and is equipped with a corresponding lock. The police warn against vandalism and advise using a keyless lock system.
You can further subdivide the safe interior with additional shelves or an inner safe so that your valuables and documents can be organized perfectly.
Shipping and installation
- Shipping is free of charge throughout Germany with Bremer Tresor. We deliver our items ourselves, ensuring absolute discretion. In addition, by having our experts deliver the items, you also have the opportunity to book further services, such as floor-to-floor transport or installations.
- Installation can either be carried out by you yourself or performed by our experts at your desired location. Anchoring using standardized hardware is strongly advised, as furniture safes have a light weight. Anchoring is carried out using fixtures on the back panel and/or the floor of your safe.
Alternatives to security level S2
Level S2 belongs to security cabinets according to EN 14450. When it comes to storing higher-value goods, security safes according to EN 1143-1 are recommended. These have a higher resistance grade and can be insured for more expensive valuables than security cabinets. Security levels and VdS classes are assigned by the official testing institutes VdS and ECB-S.
There are also construction types A and B, which were in effect until 2004. In the construction regulation VDMA 24992, the construction types for this label were defined. The construction types were primarily based on the body and door structure. These guidelines were superseded by EN 14450. However, safes with security level B are still available.
Safes are used and built for various purposes. If you are interested in other security measures in addition to a furniture safe, find out more about our other offers:
